Abundant Life Child Development Home provides respectful, compassionate care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with the goal of creating a community of self-confident and capable young people. We celebrate the process of learning through everyday experiences for both the child and adult. At Abundant Life, children are nurtured through experiences, interactions, and environments that best meet their developmental needs. Operating with the belief that first encounters in life create the foundation for all later learning reinforces the importance of the relationships between adults and children. Embracing children at their unique developmental stage fosters their need for safety and security which, in turn, provides a framework for them to learn about their world. The daily structured routine allows children to learn and interact with themselves and their natural environment in order to cultivate confidence, strength, self-awareness, and contentment. The setting and activities that provided for children are designed to enable them to love, create, encourage thoughtfulness, develop responsibility, value their own health and well-being, and view others with compassion.
Abundant Life is a registered child development home in Johnson County, Iowa. We are ChildNet certified and participate in the quality rating system and the child and adult care food program.
